iCobus Ltd is a specialist ICT, Telecoms & Structured Cabling Employment Business, recruiting for the following:

Job Title         Project Supervisor
Location         Netherlands
Package         €50K - €60K + €28K Travel Allowance
                       Including 1 flight every 3 weeks + Accommodation

Demonstratable track record within the structured cabling industry working on large installation projects with 5 - 10 years previous experience in Supervising installation crews and sub-contractors.

  • Proven record of supervising and involvement of large installation projects
  • Managing Health & Safety aspects of installation teams on a daily basis
  • Experienced in data centre project installations and standards
  • Good technical knowledge of both copper and fibre networks
  • Good IT skills with thorough detailed daily progress reports
  • Excellent communication skills, able to deal with various trades, customers and workers
  • Ability to work well within strict deadlines
  • Ability to drive a large-scale project

Not essential, but good to have are:

SSSTS / SMSTS / IPAF / PASMA / CNCI / Confined Spaces / IOSH

Job Description:

  • Management of Site Safety in conjunction with the Company Safety Advisor. This will include the setup, management of and closing out of the safety file as part of the Management team.
  • Management of Site QA in conjunction with the ICT Package manager including set up, management and close out of file.
  • Familiarity with and management of Project Schedule in conjunction with other trades and Package Leads.
  • Management of all day to day on site operations for the ICT package.

Assist with the management of all costs associated with your package including:

  • ICT Installation Team
  • Sub-contractors
  • Material deliveries and goods receipting.
  • Plant and Equipment
  • Variations
  • Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels. Ensure Attend and contribute to a weekly minutes meeting with sub-contractor.
  • Management of the “In Progress” snagging system ensuring that you return weekly punch lists where applicable.
  • Issue direct labour hours and sub-contractor hours to time administrator for tracking centrally.
  • Attendance at Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co-ordination Meetings and Handover Meetings where required.
  • Close out of all project items with the support of the ICT Project Manager
  • Implement a weekly look ahead ensuring co-ordination with other trades.
  • Issue internal weekly progress report, Supervisors report. This will highlight progress percentage complete based on WBS codes and any concerns. It should also highlight any risk elements within the control of the company or Sub-contractors.
  • Schedule material deliveries to correspond with the project schedule.
  • Maintain a weekly project photographic diary
  • Any other duties associated with the role.
