iCobus are registered corporate members of REC - The Institute Of Recruitment Professionals. We work by the ethics and rules of conduct set out by the recruitment body and work towards providing a fair and ethical way of working.
We believe that the credibility and reputation of the recruitment industry is shaped by the collective conduct of individual recruiters.
The purpose of the IRP's Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct is to instill confidence in the recruitment profession and to help an individual become a better recruiter; it describes the expectations that we have as IRP members.
Steps To Becoming Compliant With iCobus Ltd.
If you have applied through our website, please ensure your CV is attached with your application. If applying over the phone (0208 544 0944) we will require an up to date CV to be emailed to our team via firstname.lastname@example.org.
The next steps once we have received your CV we will analyse the application and notify all successful candidates on about being put forward for the job.
Before you start we will send out Four Documents. These documents are a legal requirement to be filled out before we can place anyone on a job and/or make payment to candidates. The following documents are:
- Non-Disclosure Agreement
- 48 Hour Opt-Out
- Candidate Registration Schedule
- Criminal Conviction Declaration
Certain jobs will require other certifications and qualifications as a legal basic for example CSCS, IPAF or eCRB. To be eligable to work on these jobs we will require a clear scanned copy of these certifications sent to us (min. 24 hours) before the job start date. Unless we have a previously sent copy on our database.
The final stage of the recruitment process will require you to register as a self-employed candidate with Liquid Friday. An umbrella company that we work with to provide quick, easy and realiable payroll service. If you are working through a limited company you will need to fill out our:
- Self-Bill Agreement
- Ltd Terms of Business
- Ltd Certificate of Incorporation
- VAT Registration Certificate (if applicable)
- Proof of Ltd Company Bank Account (scanned copy)
- Ltd Company Insurance
Once all the previous steps have been completed and you have confirmation of compliance, we can proceed with future payments.
